While farmville is fun to experience it has severe limitations. If you are trying to captain a vessel from Point A to Point B on the global cruise the game will not take action for you. There are just 15 or 20 harbors around the globe for you personally to sail plus they are not connected. So if you desire to go from New York to London forget it because in the action there is nothing between two.
