Im assuming you are using early binding and possess placed a reference within your excel VBE project to Reflections for IBM Session. Also, may I ask why your using GetObject rather then CreateObject? I was of thebelief that GetObject is employed when you currently have an instance with the application which you are attempting to talk with. Will that be true within your case or do you would like Excel to open up its own instance from the Host session?

well I am using GetObject because I have Reflection created in my desktop with settings so I guess I dont need it to attach! rite cause it already gets the host settings included! but why would it be giving Automation syntax error!
