I bought winzip 18.5 with a reduced price a month ago, 11 14 14, I couldn't download because at the many goog links I tried, that it was only set to load new 19. I emailed winzip ans these people were very good about helping, but even they kept sending me links for 19. Finally I almost threw in the towel I explained my purchase was for your 18. 5 version, they sent the appropriate link and yes it worked out fine. Does not protect your personal machine and should you need support? You get to wait an hour or so or more about the phone then get support which enables outsourcers embarrassed. They do the things they can to push you off phone. Email? days for answers. If you are the common user you do not be happy.
Spent 48 hrs and still do not have it working and I am a web expert for 19 years. If it doesnt be employed by me and I cant reach a capable tech support person how's it going going for getting things fixed? Costs much more than its cost.
I ran this course and selected disk defrag. When the pc experimented with reboot it didnt, it went into windows repair. I contacted their phone support, after one hour on hold, someone aswered. She had an unsatisfactory pohone connection and also poor english.
She besides could not help, had no involvement in helping, and suggested the situation was my fault.
After couple of days of research, I have found that everything that must be on the c drive is now about the d drive. All boot info is missing or all smudged.
I email their help email twice without response.
Seems to use a reasonable registry scanner but I noticed no speed improvements.

Completely destroyed my windows system during driver update and it also had not saved a restore point so I was instructed to completely rebuild Windows and luckily I am using Carbonite so I didnt lose everything. But I did lose Winzip Utilities which I aren't going to be reinstalling. Only took three weeks to be back in some semblance of normalacy.
