This was indeed a duplicate of Windows 7 Pro and a true Microsoft disk BUT, the product or service key code had obviously been razor bladed off another machine which genuine but used key code only agreed to be stuck within the non Microsoft DVD case. The whole thing have been poorly re-shrink wrapped. This just isn't a legal method to sell Microsoft OEM software as it is only able to be suited for one machine. Bought this because in the reasonable price to get a full install version of Win 7. I emailed their support to have reassurance after receiving the merchandise that it absolutely was truly an authorized copy and also a full install, not an upgrade version. As background, Im a heavy pc user but not a techie. Im an insurance coverage and realtor in Houston, TX. I would rate my technical knowledge as medium.
I bought the 64-bit builder pack to install using a new MacBook Pro. Followed the Apple Boot Camp instructions and was operational in less than 1 hour. Couldnt have been simpler. Love the MacBook Pro but one critical business website only supports IE Explorer and many others have difficulties with Safari plus Chrome, Firefox among others as well. The builder pack has the many features and it is sold for the clean install with a new computer. It was just what I needed.
Running both Windows7 and Snow Leopard personally is the only solution to go. Theres some keyboard differences but nothing significant. I may try Parallels 5.0 as time goes on but Boot Camp works acceptable for now.

I am trying for making an OEM CD from an XP Home Retail SP1 CD, so I can restore a Dell PC that comes with an OEM Product Key label. The Retail CD is XRMHFPPEN with PID 55277000. I changed the 000 to OEM and changed the CD name to XRMHOEMEN. I made a bootable CD using the updated file though the XP Setup crashes if it says press Enter to set up XP, R to Repair, or F3 to relinquish. Can t figure out why it's not working.
