Vista 64 SP2 isn't going to install on Dell Inspirons with Vista 64 Sp1. Dell doesn't have Solution, and Microsoft claims that this is often a Dell issue.
CAs Security Suite isn't going to work it can run - but doesnt supply virus eradication for Vista 64.
Vista 64 is indeed screwed up, that even Microsofts most valued partners cant obtain software or hardware to do business with it. But they wont say this in public places, for fear with the Wrath of Microsoft
Microsofts answer is usually to upgrade to Windows Which, through the way, has yet to prove appropriate for general distribution.

Yes the has many bling looking for it. But in terms of function forget it. I are already tring to obtain my ISATAP adapter to function again. As with the last two months from the time that sp2 it sits having a yellow triangle plus the worst part is, It is associated with Microsoft. I have contacted two different tech Microsoft about it. The emails which come back from Microsoft are upbeat and planning to help. But when I send an answer my email are blocked. I have even resubmitted the claim plus the same thing happens, Not just one email but with my email. I will still get a note from your tech advising to have in touch if it's convienant in my opinion. HA HA the jokes on me. For anyone in Vista Hell, I help you buy Advanced Vista Optimizer from Systweaks. No this may not be a pitch, But my new laptop almost became a pitch within the trash tell I started by using this product. I could reveal how I hate vista forever. Well, SP2 killed a chance to print. I run Vista 64 bit and after installing SP2, I could will no longer print into a Canon MX 850 over wither the network or USB. Reboots, reinstalling drivers, nothing helps. Restored OS to pre SP2 and everything works again. Guess SP2 will always be hidden for an additional pair year or so until they remedy it.

Ive found SP1 being more stable compared to original version of Vista SP0? in my system and would recommend it but dont get it done unless Windows Update offers it.
It now shows up one of the updates, but I have noticed several things that have stopped working now work perfectly, however the problems I had might not have been brought on by SP1, I am not sure. For example the Empty Recycle Bin link didnt work any further, although if I made itself known yet File, it had been OK. The link Slide Show for folders containing images didnt work anymore either.
I can be curious to learn if anybody had these complaints after installing SP1 or if some may have been due to something else on my small system, and I we had not noticed.

Do you remember the place you saw that because its incorrect. SP1 can be used for all versions of Vista. Im using Home Premium and also have SP1 installed for Windows Update. I had some problems getting hired to show up when my RAM was having difficulty but once I got that fixed it came.
One other thing to know is always that there is really a download that becomes necessary before SP1 can have up. Im pretty sure how the required update is KB937287 if you decide to havent installed that then that could keep SP1 from turning up the way it should.
