PowerShellGet is often a new way to uncover, install, rrmprove PowerShell Modules. New in WMF 5.0 Preview May 2014, PowerShellGet contains a number of cmdlets that enable users to connect to an online module gallery.
Instead of needing to search through CodePlex, GitHub, various blogs, and TechNet Script Center for those the PowerShell Modules you wish, you may use Find-Module to locate through an internet based Gallery:
Installing a module from your Gallery is often a simple one liner. You won t need to understand or explain env:PSModulePath for your coworkers again:

Updating your modules is easier still just run the Update-Module command. Checking for updates through your online browser are going to be a thing in the past. You can check which modules is going to be updated using the - Whatif parameter:
C:WindowsSystem32WindowsPowerShellv1.0 Update-Module - WhatIf
What if: Performing the operation Update-Module on target Version 1.0.0.6 of module PSReadLine, updating to version 1.0.0.8.
What if: Performing the operation Update-Module on target Version 1.0 of module xDatabase, updating to version 1.1.

Guys, the My Documents folder will not be your place that will put any stuff you want. Put it in AppData. A PowerShell module is NOT a document, and positively not My Document !
I am getting started using this, and I have a very question about not hard to install.
I see the installer is usually a Windows Update, plus it get s installed as Windows Management Framework 5.0 Preview September 2014 KB2969050 within the list of Windows Updates. Will the KB to the final release be exactly the same? Will installing that replace the entry inside updates list? Or do I have to uninstall the preview release before installing your final release? Or will the ultimate release cease distributed to be a Windows Update?
