einen Haken hat es in der Praxis doch: bei intensiver Nutzung mehrerer Dienste entwickelt Win 7 ein Eigenleben, das einem durch intensive Festplattenaktivit t den Nerv rauben kann. Bitte, es soll nun keiner kommentieren, dass das der Searchindexer sei, der zu Beginn die Festplatte durchk mmt um anschlie ende Suchvorg nge zu beschleunigen; der ist es DEFINITIV nicht, Googlen bringt keine L sung, das Problem haben wohl noch mehr Intensivnutzer. Ich habe mir von einem H ndler extra einen Silent-PC aufbauen lassen, so silent kann aber leider keine Hardware sein, dass man das st ndige Geratter wahrnehmungsm ig ausblenden und dennoch das Telefon oder die Haust rklingel h ren kann.
Ansonsten wundere ich mich ber den vielen Unsinn, der hier so zu lesen ist: Win7 ist im Kern eine komplette Neuentwicklung - und das merkt man dem System auch an. Abgesehen von dem genannten Mangel ist es traumhaft stabil, schlank und schnell. Kein Vergleich mit XP Pro oder gar mit Vista. Auf weniger intensiv genutzten Rechnern meinem Notebook l uft Windows 7 hervorragend. Beispiel: wenn ich nach tagelangem Betrieb des Rechners ohne Neustart und st ndigem Starten und Beenden von Applikationen alle Anwendungen schlie e, ist der belegte Speicher wieder auf dem Wert nach dem Neustart. Aufmerksame Win-XP-Nutzer wissen, dass das nicht selbstverst ndlich ist. - Mein zwischenzeitliches Interesse an Apple-Rechnern ist jedenfalls mit Win7 wieder erloschen auch wenn ich anerkenne, dass Apple-Rechner wirklich gut sind. Ich finde es schade, dass so viele Kommentatoren entweder Windows 7 ber den Gr nen Klee loben oder als Desaster verteufeln. Ich arbeite seit drei Monaten mit dem Windows 7 RC vorher mit Windows XP Pro, da man Vista nun mal unbestreitbar eine echte Gurke war.
Im Vergleich zu Windows XP steht Windows 7 gar nicht schlecht dar. Es gibt einige deutliche Verbesserungen siehe Pro, aber auch einige Details die schlechter sind. Es ist also sehr hnlich wie bei einem frisch installierten Windows XP: Man muss erst mal ein paar Standardeinstellungen ndern, damit man sinnvoll arbeiten kann. Und genauso wie bei XP muss man sich mit ein paar Makeln abfinden an denen sich wohl so schnell nichts ndern wird Gr nde zum Umsteigen gibt es schon, allerdings keine so gewichtigen, dass man eine gut laufende XP Installation unbedingt eintauschen m sste. Vor allem das deutlich schnellere Hoch- und Runterfahren empfand ich als gro en Schritt vorw rts.
In der nachfolgenden Kritik beschr nke ich mich auf Funktionen der Shell und lasse Zusatzprogramme wie das olle Snipping-Toool was man durch ungef hr 500 Freeware-Programme ersetzen k nnte bewusst weg, da es hier gen gend Alternativen gibt - kein Profi nutzt freiwillig das Notepad, was auch bei Windows 7 immer noch gleich schlecht ist. Als ich die Bestellung abgab, dachte ich, ich bekomme Windows 7 Ultimate 32/64 Bit. Auf der Best tigung stand dann pl tzlich OEM und geliefert wurde eine Reinstallation DVD Windows 7 Ultimate Sp1 64-Bit. Leider war es nur nach ffnen des R cknahme-Siegel Das ffnen des Siegel verpflichtet zum Kauf Keine R cknahme bei besch digtem Siegel! zu erkennen. Bei einem Kaufpreis von 100, - mit Versand klarer Betrug.

Die Umgew hnung von Windows XP was ich vorher hatte auf Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit dauert noch an.:
Windows XP Professional kam ich besser klar. - Vielleicht denke ich an manchen Stellen noch zu kompliziert; denn alle sagen, dass die Handhabung/Bedienung von Windows 7 einfacher ist, als bei vorherigen Windows Versionen.
Ein Manko: Das automatische Windows Update hat die Treibersoftware f r den numerischen Coprozessor meines leicht veralteten Mainboards nicht von selbst gefunden und Installiert; sondern behauptet, dass die Installation von Treibern f r den Coprozessor nicht n tig sei. - Ich musste Software Treiber-such-und-installier-Software von einem Drittanbieter installieren, der mir dann gleich drei unerw nschte Programme mit installierte. Letztere musste ich dann manuell deinstallieren.
F r meinen Geschmack gibt es noch nicht genug 64 Bit Software. - 32 Bit Anwendungen besonders ein gratis Antivirenprogramm bremst das System merklich herunter.
Trotzdem habe ich bewusst die teurere Ultimate Version gew hlt, weil ich einfach alles mit drin haben wollte und mein Windows System nicht nach und nach durch zusammenst ckeln aufbauen wollte.
Letztendlich bin ich sehr zufrieden. Vieles wird durch automatische Updates einfach von selbst geregelt.
