Having a one yr old daughter, I was excited to try this. She also seems to love bright colorful toys. What attracted me for the toy was she has always loved to bounce. She were built with a jumperoo plus it was used lots until she exceeded the burden limit. Also, the internal music box, my daughter loves anything with music.
Opening it and putting it together took about twenty or so minutes. Directions were easier than you think. As others have noted, be prepared for getting the wheels on. I could not do it and had someone help me. He works at UPS and in some cases struggled. He was scared it had been going to crack the plastic these were going onto. Once on though they remain on. Just be prepared actually VERY hard for getting on as well as a lot of force is required.
Sadly, this toy didn't live as much as my expectations. I thought my daughter, who is often a full walker, will be using it lots. She is barely serious about it. I have placed her upon it and tried to acquire her to bounce upon it, she walks away. Another parent stated which the toy is small. The footprint is about the same size as other rides even so the other parts, handlebars, seat, upper frame, etc. are a whole lot smaller. My daughter is quite large on her behalf age and tall and he or she seems like she dwarfs the toy. We also have laminated wood flooring and carpet and honestly, no roll smoothly on either.
