I bought the merchandise online straight from Corel. I have to claim that the few DVDs I tried played OK. When I experimented with ply Blu Rays, the feeling was different. A lot of bd stop working with all the Media Not Supported message. I have 2 other bluray players Samsung and OPPO and perhaps they are both able to learn those disks. I contacted the Corel support who only contacted me through email and after 2 rounds of re-install directx, re-installupgrade your video drivers then re-install your entire product, I just thought we would forget about my HTPC, the 60 I spent and get back on my OPPO player to observe my movies without wasting time.

So, whats new with Corel? Not much, really. I actually sort of feel sorry for the kids. They have a portfolio of merchandise that are becoming more and more irrelevant in modern computing. Image editing very easily done within the cloud thats online for those who are not contaminated with marketing-speak from the likes of Adobe, Microsoft, and in many cases Tumblr and Facebook - - and generally without cost for the red-eye and cropping tools that almost all people only want. Well, OK, but why don't you consider watching DVDs and Blu-Rays? Well, Apple computers consist of software to achieve that right inside the OS, same is true of Windows 7 computers with plug-ins for DVD, it normally won't do Blu-Ray yet, but I guarantee they will soon. To said simply, this device just rule isn't followed. I installed the software program, installed the newest updates, so when i try to experience a Blu-Ray or maybe a DVD it freezes. I have kept a watchful eye on WinDVD for a long time and was sorry to discover that its quality was declining. Then Corel bought and I felt very looking forward to the probability of a true software giant supporting its development.
Unfortunately, v2010 was flawed - I downloaded trials on several occasions and was disappointed each and every time. It was packed with bugs! I could not believe Corel will allow such software under its banner.
