I go straight away to the Realtek site when I see these updates. I have Gigabyte boards which employ the Realtek create and are still back on 2.71r or 2.73r. I try to maintain the drivers, at the least, updated. One board is 890fxa ud5 and also the other is 990fxa ud3, both contain the same alc889 however the 990 incorporates a far more extensive dobly pc ht interface. i download that as well from realtek nevertheless the 2 boards have 2 separate and different dolby set ups and operations. peecee4 drivers get set up on the 990 yet not the 890.
I haven't had any real complications with any from the drivers or updates returning to 2.60 over these boards. So, the updates are simply just for routine updating. i could always roll back simple enough. they installs are 2 part and totally automatic.
only troubles i did is then your installer uninstalled partially 1, and blue screened or did not successfully reboot as soon as the uninstall part. not using this type of latest 2.75 version on either machine. up to now, so great. but no changes, consistently.
Not any in version 2.75 from realtek link. I see some reports of added software and junk being installed. I never contain the issue. i just find the installer package through the realtek site plus it takes care from the uninstall-reboot, install-reboot plus the change is finished. very little else but drivers and software process continues to be very smooth and straightforward since v2.71. i don't know bout the and/or whatever they tack on and whether an opt out dialogue box is added. I tend not to use that method anymore. a direct realtek site download. easy enough to locate and accomplish, and also have been safe and clean for many years
All my articles are contained inside above pro and con boxes. Not much more to include. I stopped using any download. com downloads due to junk additions, whether an opt out choices made available or otherwise not. i will not like the safe download thing, small downloader that then takes care in the download and security and virus scanning likewise as adding additional software towards the download and install process.

Im currently utilizing the Realtek HD Audio Audio Codec: Direct X It seems to get buggy now, if we do recent system changes, so I thought Id update it the first install originates from Nov-2009. Im running MSW Vista Biz 64, this looked such as the answer. Despite the bad reviews I thought I knew better. Im no PC Genius, but Im smarter as opposed to average bear Ive built or rebuilt a minimum of 8 PCs since 1992. Im convinced this really can be a total waste of your energy, and that this can be just junk software.
The Realtek Semiconductor Corp. web got me an update to I have yet to find out if this may help one display bug still exists for that MSW Volume Control window.
