It required awhile to post this review considering that the program comes with a DVD disc, and my laptop does not have a very DVD player. I contacted Corel to ascertain if I could simply download this course and use the DVD serial number to authenticate it, however suggestion were to find someone having a DVD player and copy the files onto a USB drive. Which I finally did.
Im visiting this program to be a relative novice at creating videos from photos and videos. Ive primarily used the Windows version of MovieMaker, which might be a bear to assist. VideoStudio Pro X8 is MUCH friendlier and much easier to use. It is laid out such as a staff of music with each line representing some other element from the video, video elements, titles, audio overdubs, music all carry on separate tracks that will be individually edited. The program has numerous effects, transitions, backgrounds, animated titles, musical tracks, etc to chose from.
