Ive been using win7 because it came out and yes it hasnt had any of people problems. If you took the matter of minutes it takes to disable the backdrop sounds they wouldnt be an issue. Please dont write a review while on an OS you obviously do not know anything about. Also being a side note windows was set up for the more professional interface in contrast to macs witch might be more of an entertainment interface.

I have followed some rather tortuous paths to switch the required file inside the System 32 folder, concluding with utilizing the command prompt after booting from your Windows 7 installation disk.
Although the instructions I followed were beautifully clear and sequential, it turned out all to no avail, and I failed to fit the startup sound I wanted. After spending a great deal of time with this, I came across your web site. Despite my reservations about downloading such software from your source I didnt know I went ahead, and was immensely pleased because of the result.
I couldnt believe how basic and fast the tool was to work with. For anyone scanning this who is going to utilise Startup Sound Changer, bear in mind to go to Change System Sounds using the Control Panel and make sure the Play Windows Startup sound is checked, otherwise the wav. file you could have selected will not likely play. An obvious point, but I hadnt realised that I had left the therapy lamp unchecked the primary time I tried it.

After running the program once on Win7 x64 they have broken the cpanel and most system icons in Ive reversed the sound change, reset the Icon database, rebooted, system restored, and zip! I cant do away with this problem. Im confident it absolutely was this program alone since it was the 1st thing I ran over a clean install. Really need help now.

it simply out doesnt benefit me. i was wondering if there would have been a limit on the length from the file that may be used. I know it has to become in Wave format plus it is but it really just does that windows error whenever I try to alter it. Could someone figure out what i am doing wrong. I have Windows 7 home premium if this helps I run becoming admin, I use all the instructions nonetheless it still doesnt turn into the modern sound that I perform and so I have kept it normal otherwise the startup turns into a bit glitchy. HELP PLEASE!
