I wish I would have read reviews of the product before purchasing it. I bought it from Target for 30. I knew it was not likely to be top from the line software, but all I really wished to was build a type of my home, import pictures of my furniture it says that can be done, and take a look at different paint and decorating schemes. Unfortunately, this method is incompetent at doing including the simplest tasks.
I have attempted to create a label of my home many times. The problem is, once I encounter an error inside program plus it shuts down this occurs pretty much every time I go from Space or Design Plan view to Walk Through view my files are corrupted. I have done hours of work finding the measurements of rooms perfectly, but once this course has crashed, I am no longer capable of open my file. I thought perhaps I was asking too much of this course, so I scaled back your home to one floor, then to just one room. I finally experimented with use one of the sample room plans. As soon as I visited Walk Through view and attemptedto change paint or fabric colors, this program crashed.
I would not have a wimpy computer. I have an Intel Pentium D 950 3.4GHz, 2GB of system memory and 256MB of video memory on my own NVIDIA GeForce 7800GTX. I can run Adobe Premiere and 3DS Max without encountering problems. I just cant seem to understand this software to operate.

I really wish I had look at the reviews before selecting this product. Like another reviewer here, I bought the offer to model the home and try some different designs. My computer is WELL higher than the required specs, and I am a veteran of Adobe Photoshop, so I know my way around sophisicated graphics programs.

I owned a previous version for Windows 98. When a new, major project came out, I had a couple of problems with it saving changes with Windows XP. So, I bought this version.
All went well until I attemptedto add a full-size bed. The program have their own width precisely the same as a Queen, and wouldn't allow me to modify the dimensions. This is usually a new glitch personally, because I have been competent to change dimensions on just about any item. I finally used another bed and changed it. Looks OK inside Plan mode, even so the Walk-through won't be accurate regarding how things look.
I have not been capable of figure out how to incorporate a bathroom sink with a vanity, which is really a real pain.
On an optimistic note, this system is much easier to help than others that I have tried.

This software program is junk. It blows upstops functioningerrors out repeatedly, and without recourse. It will randomly decide which a wall isnt a wall which means you cant set up doors or windows, or it can decide one room overlaps another whether you have add room mode or build walls mode. Unfortunately, after it blows up it is going to not allow one to even select items or take some other action to try and guess/solve the challenge - you will need to start over which has a new file. After many hours at work and starting over 4x, I tore my hair out and quit and I am an IT professional! Now an IT professional without having hair!. There is often a phone number for tech support, however they do not return calls. Buy something else.
Horrible software, complete waste of cash. All I wanted would be a simple floor plan software which tries to include a few outdated design elements without even being capable to do basic principles. Wasnt in a position to give it zero stars.

This software should not be sold. It hangs up repeatedly which is missing many operations which are critical to designing a floor plan. The handling of roof structures and stairs are almost useless. You can see that of a single room might appear to be, but overlook doing a entire house.
I really should have listened for the other reviews- this system crashes constantly. This really is one step up from drawing it yourself.
