General/Summary: All around, a superb simulation in the hair-raising, physics-defying whole world of rice and ravioli racers. Ive never been a massive fan of scooter racing, but, having lots of friends who ARE, I picked this up using a lark. Glad I did, since this is one with the most enjoyable game/simulations available.
Gameplay: Gameplay is magnificent, ranging on the simple to your complex. Quick entry into the overall game through the novice levels is really a joy, and allows even most jaded ignorer-of-manuals a rapid thrill as well as an amazing a sense of speed. The higher-realism levels build a terrifying sense that youre unmanageable, something Ive been told common on the sport itself. Youll think that youre on the verge of die, and love every moment of the usb ports. A recommendation: I use a Logitech Wingman Force Feedback joystick, because similarities to piloting an aircraft make it a very, very responsive controller. Although the Force Feedback modeling might be better, it adds much to your experience. The use with the joystick makes the sport much, far more manageable over a gamepad the Freestyle Pro.
Graphics: Excellent. Its challenging to actually SEE much for the speeds modeled, but those activities you see have become, very realistic. Ive seen few games with your an immersive environment. A note: an earlier reviewer expressed dismay a first-person view hasn't been available. It is. You are unengaged to change among first and third-person perspectives. The first-person is in no way the most terrifying, but console fans will appreciate the third-person too.
Sound: Ok. The bikes whine, but theres little other sound to note, aside from the occasional crowd roar passing the grandstands as well as the blather on the color commentator from a crash. All I would really expect could there be: wind within your ears along with the scream of any 1000cc bike.
This game is amazing from the details. The physics are configurable and for your most part believable. I dont usually say this, but the bingo is simply awesome! The graphics are absolutely gorgeous, and I dont even use a really fast computer. This is definetly hands down the most effective superbike related game ever, and I can tell this cause I have played most ones. Where to start. The gameplay is perfect. Everything is simple to control, and you could edit any aspect with the controls you want, if your defaults arent the way you like. My favs part of the game may be the rider perspectives, everything in the standard arcade behind the rider view, for this wicked first person view, where up your eyes dip behind the glass at speed, and raise up if you slow down, how cool is: Great job EA did using this type of release. If you had been thinking about getting this, get around and snap it up!
I am a game title developer and motorcycle rider, and I must say, EASports all of you nailed this. Even without having a proper motorcycle interface, EASports provides for us something which can be amazingly design for speed, the changing rider position around the bike, the congratulations first person view where your mind stays level together with the road perfect not to mention, it will be the only perspective I will play. If EA had only done a 3rd person view, Id consider this to be a silly console game. They considered tracks are fantastic and riders are really the, even tho they pegged Ben Bostrom to be a loser for most races maybe he was not too long ago but man in 2010, he or she is unstoppable.

The great thing for racing games like Superbike 2001 is you can use one analog stick for steering L-R, as well as the other for Gas/Brakes U-D, but the experience sees them jointly stick helping to make configuration very easy! Its a tremendous improvement over playing having a digital pad or maybe one analog stick. The included software is very rewarding, along with the pad is incredibly comfortable. The PSX pad has both shoulder buttons stacked, even though this pad places the fewer shoulder buttons a bit farther underneath the pad. This is actually better, and works perfectly in shooters like Heavy Metal 2, i believe.

I had an original SBK game which ran fine of any Win 95 PC. I later tried to perform this with a new PC running windows XP and yes it failed to operate. I then obtained a second copy from the game SBK 2001which stated which it ran on XP but I still found it did not recongise the recording. Has anybody managed to get farmville operating on XP. I even contacted EA Sport twice but they did not reply.

I read a reiview from the Mac addict magazine that arrived recently. They did a write-up on motorcyle racing, and so they came to your same conclusion I have come too. Even though you can find newer games out for superbike racing, mafia wars is the very best even though it is a couple of years old. It has enough riders and bikes also as courses to hold you going for just a while. The graphics are excellent to get a game that arrived 2 years ago, and may still rival games that just arrived on the scene. Also when paired using the Gravis Eliminator Gamepad Pro USB controller, that it is hard to stop playing. It provides numerous racing views between 1st person to 3rd person. If you are into superbike racing or racing on the whole you cant get it wrong. However, I dont reccomend buying the bingo for 19.99. I recommend trying to find Racing Mania 2 The Racing Mania 2 package is sold with not only the game, but 3 other super racing games. Need for speed hot persuit, Need for speed Porsche unleased, and Nascar 2000. All these games are exc
First off, permit me to start by saying this is the most effective video game that I have ever played. It gets your heart racing soooo fast. The action and depth are extremely intense. The You know, I just cant describe the ability. Play it yourself. Use a machine with horsepower, plus a steering wheel. Youll be fixated! I promise. Its an arcade racer in the event you want that, or realistic as you can! The slow-mo instant replay is often a blast too! Its still one from the top 5 best racing sims in my book. ENJOY!
As others have hands per hour and graphics are wonderful. EA has some great driving sims which is amoung their very best. I was drawn to the present game because I love riding cycles as well as the Need For Speed V game was spectacular especially multiplayer. So, I thought place the 2 together and EA should have a very great product. Well, They succeeded in building a very nice Cycle racing game as long because you dont want to race REAL people. The network play is severly flawed. If this is what you really are looking for, dont buy this. If you intend to play from the computer opponents only, then this is really a MUST buy. Overall I give the sport a high rating.
