Its funny, the number of time/dollars MS has allocated to sending me stupid emails with non-working suggestions is costing them more than simply giving me a product key. I dont mind investing in the software if I need to keep it - thats only fair.
They have removed the rubber band search inside the 2010 version that has been very useful in my opinion.

I had no problem getting hired on Vista. If its NEW and not another thing Id ask for a refund where I bought it. I was after updated maps truly like my 2006 version better, this 2009 version is just too cluttered.

I thought this device was discontinued in the past. Why would anyone want this once they could get a Garmin handheld GPS unit or use Google Maps? I give video 1 because it is not free and it isn't made through the best handheld GPS manufacturer of them all.
Is your Garmin handheld GPS unit free? Or will it cost money to get it?
Ill rate my curent version of MS Streets Trips a 4 since it still needs some work. Cant get the 2011 version because of any glitch within the web site.

I will believe tangentlin on all points. As the owner of two Garmin GPS machines, i've found them very helpful. I cant let my lady outside the house with out them. But Garmin cant do most of the things Streets and Trips can perform, and Google, while an excellent resource, cannot do lots of the things that may be accomplished with Streets and Trips, and those things which Google are able to do is frequently tougher. You get whatever you pay for. Google is free of charge, so should you dont need to pay for S and T, you still are capable of doing some of the issues that S and T will perform.
That said, I was struggling to download this trial of S and T, which I planned to compare to my present 2008 version, to ascertain if the maps around my area have been updated. MS requires registration and even though I am reqistered with MS, the webpage the download link sent me to informed me that either my current email address or password was wrong. I know, certainly, how the information I provided was correct. However, I notice in the bottoom of the registration page this We are struggling to complete your request. Edited Addition 9/3/2009 - The website has become up and I have my copy of this year's version. The 2008 version has some minor mapping errors within my area. I checked and they are already fixed inside the 2010 version. A missing street around my community is now into the spotlight, as is really a recently constructed and opened freeway about 30 miles from my home. My only complaint will be the dark toolbar which, I believe, was added with the 2009 version. I havent checked, but there can be a skin to mend that, yet it's, in the end, only cosmetic, and definitely not a large problem. I do recommend whole process almost. MIcrosoft Money was the main one discontinued and not Microsoft Streets and Trips. Microsoft Streets and Trips is NOT designed to make use of for Garmin, also it is pointless to make it assist Garmin as Garmin is loaded with maps, and basically has many duplicate functionality.
