No, the - win part has become the important part. With this alone it generally seems to work, yuris was only going very slow personally without the graphics patch. Also, this setup generally seems to make ra2 work with no problems I was seeing on yuris so its basically like playing ra2 normally, nevertheless, you still cant alt-tab out in the game I guess.

You followed all in the steps? I have tfd and dont mind much for playing the games anyways stopped playing for like four years before returning but itd be cool when the supported version done Windows 8. All in the menus appear for me personally and while using graphics patch the action runs smoothly in skirmish, but I cant hook up to anyone online in this way.
Can you might try going to device manager and turning off all of the unnecessary adapters, virtual adapters and tunnels?
Then check properties with your default connection and disable exactly what you dont use, besides what provides your online connectivity?
I have only ipv4 on my own connection and also the rest from the stuff is disabled, just throughout the belief that it is the most optimal and reduces loading/connection a serious amounts of provides a more cost-effective bandwidth management.

You cant alt-tab out or click outside with the ra2 window, vital. Its in Windowed mode meaning its an independent window, though the settings changed in increase the risk for windowed mode suck hard nevertheless it also speeds the sport up, at least to me. So if you want I would suggest exiting the sport through the exit button from the menu. Also you should customize the resolution so the windowed mode is larger to ensure youre not as likely to click outside from the main ra2 window. I tried without windowed mode.
At first it went perfect. It worked without problems but after starting another skirmish it freezed again.
Then I tried everything with all the window. If i modify the resolution to 1366x768 it is usually to big and I cant utilize the Taskbar ingame anymore.
And if your Resolution should be to small I have precisely the same problems that you. Clicking outside.
The thing which enables me wonder is the fact that I can actually play online as usual.
And why is me wonder even more is If I dont utilize the windowed mode I can play online but I cant play skirmish or campaign.
Blame westwood, its their crappy coding in the experience engine. The bugs while using game never make sense at all.

I have installed both Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 and Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2, Yuri s Revenge. Red Alert 2 runs fine, however Yuri s Revenge doesn't. My main damage to Yuri s Revenge is lag and long loading time. For example, it requires 2 minutes for the sport to even load on the menu. Second, when I wish to play a sport, one example is. like wrap up a skirmish. it requires a flipping 6 minutes to load into the sport. And when actually playing the sport it lags itself. This game barely takes any system resources to experience. It was created in 2001. My system specs are:

This just doesnt seem sensible. I ve tried the compatibility settings. I have tried 98, 95, 2000 and all with the others. Yuri s Revenge could be the only game from Command and Conquer that's doing this to my computer. When loaded, you will need up 99% of my cpu usage, it lags and everything is obtained faithfully. The game CD is NOT scratched, it s in good working shape. The game only needs like 8 MB video memory, a cd rom drive, 200 mhz and the like and so forth. It barely consumes any resources from my computer. However, it still does so. I find mtss is a nuisance and I am not able to play a sport without using a REASONABLE amount of quantity of playing a minimum of one game. This mishap is really a major setback both in game performance and game playability.
