A two years ago one had the chance to choose from two competing and good travel guides, Woodalls and Good Sam. Now they have already been consolidated and now we are forced to make use of Good Sam RV Travel Guide since the only comprehensive campground reference choice. Sills Family Campground in Adamstown, PA gets an 8 star rating yet miniscule info is provided relating to this campsite within the 2014 directory. I bought this 2014 directory as a possible updated version to towards the 2011 Trailer Life campground directory that I have. What a mistake. There are so many Good Sam ads, and - 108 pages under my 2011 directory, together with the removal of some state campgounds, and essential RV specific information.

walmart and many other stores have free overnight parking, not camping. trucks parking overnight with engines idling at some on the other places make sleeping tough.
you must always check with management at any store before parking overnight. sometimes the municipality isn't going to allow overnight parking because of complaints by campground owners. in this case i vote with my feet and take my offer elsewhere and send an email towards the mayor explaining why.
i like walmarts because there can be a free online self-help guide to where you can and can't park overnight. rvers are responsible for keeping this website up to date.
