yes it will play blu rays but but plays in poor picture.
when playing a blu ray whenever using windows 7 with full retail version you cant adjust the settings so far as typ of monitor you've or the color or it plays blu rays but plays them very poorly.i might not recommend whole process almost to nobody it flat out is crap

Its the blu ray spec that will require video for being downscaled for output to anything in addition to HDMI. All software and payers can do the same.

Mike, this really is just a relevant video player NOT an editor. To give this place star for a thing that is not said ANYWHERE it's supposed to complete what you are wanting it to accomplish is more a representation of your failure, not WinDVDs failure, a brief between the chair plus the keyboard as it were.
Trialware plays Blu-Ray, Retail doesn t. Beware!!!
Trialware can play Blu-Ray with a standard Vga connection monitor without the problem. The retail version doesnt and comes home with an error stating it detected Analog Output. Adding the SlySoft AnyDvd Hd plugin will trick it into playing blu-ray but this costs 163;55 and defeats the idea. Corel support was absolutely terrible together with the usual answers, get more patches drivers, maybe you have checked the knowledgebase?, etc. Then no response following a week of badgering to have an answer. In the end I brought forward my decision to obtain a new monitor with DVI output plus it worked instantly. But it is still a con, trialware should reflect a timed version in the final product, not a thing that cons you into buying its bigger sibling.
Once working the item does the task although Im sure you'll find better applications on the market. They just cost much more.
