Yes XP is just not perfect but hardly slow in comparison to the bloated and rushed VISTA. If you carry out a clean install with XP along with your computer is slow it's your hardware or there is the wrong drivers installed. This will not be XPs fault.
The following step is to buy a whole new computer with 7. You can get a fresh one for just a couple hundred and if you'll need a great computer for tech then you are able to build your own for the few hundred at the same time. Im sure you will find techs in your area that will help you. Either way the rule of thumb is XP for old computers, and 7 for first time ones. And if you will cant stand XP a celebrity then plunge to linux. Its free and much more secure.
Very, excellent Windows program
Easy to handle problems, simple to navigate. Holds more than enough room. Tells when there is usually a problem and fixes it easily. Fast 85% in the time. Good household computer, tells any time a program may harm your personal computer, and asks if you want to run it.
Lags sometimes ANNOYING, may be slow 35% in the time. When multiple tabs windows are running as well, the many programs immediately become unresponsive. When programs become unresponsive, pain within the neck to seal the program down.
Overall, I have had this computer ALL MY LIFE, also it still works like fresh. This computer is definitely an old but trusted friend, if you want to pick out a fresh program, go using this. You wont regret it!:
