Ive been using win7 because it came out and it also hasnt had any of such problems. If you took the matter of minutes it takes to disable the backdrop sounds they wouldnt be a challenge. Please dont write an appraisal on an OS you obviously do not know anything about. Also as being a side note windows was create for a more professional interface in contrast to macs witch is a lot more of an entertainment interface.
