So a few days ago I upgraded my OS to Mavericks. It s faster and cleaner and all you could d expect from your software upgrade from Apple. I don t use a whole lot of alternative software applications on my own computer, so I didn t think a lot of about checking if things will be supported in the revolutionary OS. Silly me really.
Anyway, I went to slice out some letters to get a project I was making for ASWC and low and behold the program I use to chop out on my own cricut expression Sure Cuts A Lot 2, didn t work. It was coming up using a mat error, no matter what I tried I couldn t understand it to work. I found themselves just cutting them out another way as they must be done quickly, but I have recently sat down and googled my little heart to find a solution to the pesky problem.
Solution found! If you re planning to upgrade to Mavericks and also you use Sure Cuts A Lot 2, then you definitely ll desire to follow these instructions:
Once you ve upgraded to Mavericks and checked your cricut isn t cutting on the Sure Cuts A Lot 2 program, download this patch: scal2maverickspatch
Unzip the file when it doesn t take action automatically and double click about the scal2mavericksusbpatch file. Most probably your personal machine won t enable you to open this application because doing so s from a mysterious source.

Hm, I have no clue if the file isn t working maybe try again later? If the server isn t answering and adjusting send you the file then it's going to probably work later. Using this file may be the only way I know of. If you still can t understand it to work make me aware and I ll have another look.

Thank you SO MUCH for that link on the patch as well as the explanation! I had a reasonably major panic when I realized SCAL wouldn t work and I had projects that must be finished!
I experimented with download the patch, but only saw an area to add to cart I went throughout the whole process and also the e-mail I got said your order was processing. It would also help when your turn off any ANTI-VIRAL software you will likely have before installing the SCAL program. I powered down my NORTON ANT-VIRUS for just two or three minutes, installed SCAL, turned it back on that's ALL SHE WROTE!

I love my Cricut machine but purchasing different cartridges was very costly. I had read several blogs concerning the Sure Cuts A Lot
software but was obviously a little skeptical. When I thought it was reasonably priced, I went ahead and ordered it. It it completely appropriate for my Cricut Expression machine and extremely easy to utilize. I can search any image on the internet, create monograms in word or anything
my heart desires and it converts it to some readable apply for my machine to reduce it. I love it!

I didnt understand it at some time, but Yes, this can be bootleg. But it works. So far. And I dont think it really is available otherwise. Disappointed with this particular product. Purchased this system to use my Cricut Cutting Machine. It was not as easy to make use of as indicated. No instructions included and yes it appeared this became a copied disc. I would not recommend it.
