Vista 64 SP2 won't install on Dell Inspirons with Vista 64 Sp1. Dell does not have any Solution, and Microsoft claims that this is usually a Dell issue.
CAs Security Suite isn't going to work it is going to run - but doesnt supply virus eradication for Vista 64.
Vista 64 is really screwed up, that even Microsofts most valued partners cant manage to get thier software or hardware to do business with it. But they wont say this in public areas, for concern about the Wrath of Microsoft

Yes the provides extensive bling looking for it. But as much as function forget it. I have been tring to have my ISATAP adapter to be effective again. As for your last two months since sp2 it sits having a yellow triangle and also the worst part is, It is a member of Microsoft. I have contacted two different tech Microsoft with this. The emails that can come back from Microsoft are upbeat and attempting to help. But when I send a response my email have become blocked. I have even resubmitted the claim as well as the same thing happens, Not just one current email address but with my email. I will still get some text from a tech advising for getting in touch if it's convienant personally. HA HA the jokes on me. For anyone in Vista Hell, I inform you buy Advanced Vista Optimizer from Systweaks. No this may not be a pitch, But my new laptop almost became a help out the trash tell I started applying this product. I could discuss how I hate vista forever. But I think I have made my self clear. Well, SP2 killed the opportunity to print. I run Vista 64 bit and after installing SP2, I could will no longer print with a Canon MX 850 over wither the network or USB. Reboots, reinstalling drivers, nothing helps. Restored OS to pre SP2 and everything works again. Guess SP2 will remain hidden for one more year or so until they correct it.
