This product dose exactly what it says around the tin, can't believe I did not upgrade sooner, my original vista system am slow in comparison with windows 7!!
It is extremely easy to setup I would defiantly recommend this to anyone who is undecided, do it now you will have no regrets.
If that you are doing the full install I would advise downloading windows easy transfer this really helps make the job very simple ensure that you gather your driver discs, eg. for printer, monitor etc.

My PC is really a Quad Core Q6600 2.2GHz with 4Gb RAM, so five-years old now, however not poverty spec. It sported Vista 32-bit although it was running OK of all things, it couldnt run the most recent version of Photoshop, CS6. It would freeze and do not zoom in ACR.
I tried a brand new graphics card, but that made no difference. I was planning to order a fresh Р±С‘1K PC, when I saw the OEM version of Windows 7 64-bit on Amazon. I thought Id look at installing the modern OS and find out if it made any difference. If it didnt, I thought that no less than it would make the appliance more usable for handing onto my sister. I knew that Id be competent to address the whole installed 4Gb RAM, and believed that I might find some good other minor speed gains.
I would be a bit worried about utilising an OEM version, but I neednt have, it installed easily and quickly, without problems. The last time I installed a Windows OS was Windows 2000, understanding that was a significant faff. Installing Windows 7 couldnt happen to be easier, with nice simple GUIs to partition and format the drives etc. You no longer need to become a mega-geek to setup! It was also much faster than I expected to fit.
Im shocked about how faster my machine is running now, its like having a fresh PC! It seems that Vista 32 only agreed to be getting about 50 % the performance on the hardware. It boots considerably quicker, you need to up doesnt freeze you for minutes as it did in Vista. I use Win7 at your workplace, and set the performance down to some newer spec machine. I knew that Vista was slow, yet not that slow.
Anyway, CS6 ACR is currently very usable, with a hint of lag in most operations.
