I have Pinnacle Studio and Sony Vegas suites in my Windows 8 computer. Both installed and run fine without effecting other apps. They make movies and DVDs, and dont add watermarks.
They aren't usually free but I got each suite for any penny when these folks were on special internet sales. They are not the newest models but work fine.
