The two are Dell computers and Dell wanted some updates when I checked with Dell; their Bios needed an upgrade but that installed without the problems. Windows 10 has now held it's place in place for any few weeks and I can honestly state running faster than ever before before. We use a broadband connection which offers 200 Mbps download rate and they are downloading at about 210 Mbps consistently.
By contrast we have an older Dell Precision Workstation T3400 and that is running Vista Ultimate and its data transfer speed varies from 105 Mbps to about 144 Mbps with occasional bursts to 180 Mbps. It varies all around us whereas Windows 10 may seem to lock in anytime at over 200 Mbps.
With Windows 7 my partner was complaining how slowly her computer was responding; now with Windows 10 everything loads quickly.
Ill grant you Windows 10 takes some adjustments in the method that you operate it but generally all from the changes seem to become working out within an acceptable manner. When I get a new computer, mine is finished 8 yrs . old but still chugging along all right, Ill specify Windows 10.
