Sound such as a hardware propblem. Mine was doing the identical thing. Problem was the hard disk drive was failing. Could also be you happen to be not meeting the minimum specs to operate it. Windows 7 needs a minimum of a 2ghz processor and 4gb of ram

Ive been using win7 mainly because it came out and it also hasnt had any of such problems. If you took the little bit it takes to disable the backdrop sounds they wouldnt be a difficulty. Please dont write an appraisal on an OS you obviously don't know anything about. Also being a side note windows was put in place for a more professional interface compared to macs witch is much more of an entertainment interface.

The things that you are complaining about are usually hardware-related. If you took half the funds you blew on your own Apple and obtained a decent computer it wouldnt crash constantly.

Recently upgraded from Vista, clean install as I did something stupid also it made the OS explode, windows 7 was obviously a really nice change, and Im actually glad I upgraded now.
Not a large change from Vista. I had no issues with vista before I upgraded, but Windows 7 is actually a nice change. Its a good deal faster as a possible OS and I was rather glad to acquire rid in the crapware in this little old OS when I did this clean install.
