After waiting for any response from Nuance, no luck there, I decided that I was required to try to fix the condition with broken PDF creation see below. It did not assist with Repair in Windows. I did get it to function by uninstalling PDF Converter Professional 8, deleting the Program folders and reinstalling the application.

Ive used a volume of PDF programs including Acrobat since Version 3. For small office use we wanted something less than Acrobat that may still have the strength to edit PDF documents. PDF PRO is simple to learn. We have used version 7 and recently upgraded to version 8. However, after two weeks we have been still struggling to get PDF Converter Pro 8 to activate. We have an active support ticket and possess spent hours for the phone with Nuance offshore tech support trying this and Endless, no solution yet. Very trashy company to cope with.

I have several versions of various of Nuances products. They can't be used due to the draconian activation system. Nuance will show you that you are able to deactivate or uninstall the programs to re-install it on another computer. This just isn't the case. Received the package without having issues. CD had the appropriate manufacturers printing. CD envelope had the license numbers. When examined there have been no files within the CD; properties showed a blank CD.
Contacted Nuance realtime about the internet only to get given a number on who to call. Their Customer Service is open 1st shift only. Left an email msg using their website email. When contacted I was told to return it to Amazon. I guess finding a download and while using license about the envelope wasn't possible even though they sell software for download. I hasn't been happy with their customer satisfaction on this issue so I chosen to return the product or service for refund and work with a competitors product instead.

I strongly suggest considering an alternative choice to buying this supplement. My reason is you will have to handle Nuance, a firm lost in 1980s software client satisfaction policies. For example I lost my disk to re-install the application I had purchased from Nuance with a new computer, the response, a fee in EXCESS of what I could obtain a New replacement same product from your 3rd for me letting them be aware of reality of the marketplace, sorry we're also unable to give you support.

Once you install this you'll be subjected to popups to update, have more expensive edition. If you check dont remind me again it truly is like asking for additional popups.
