BEWARE! Half with the reviews are one star and for good reason. They sell which you particular version on the software and gives a registration key specific compared to that software version that may not use newer versions in the software without having to pay an upgrade fee. Then after a little period of time, it you loaded with your PC magically disappears or possibly magically upgraded with their newer software version plus your original registration key do not work without having to pay an upgrading fee. This would be the second time it's happen to me. Kind of appears like extortion.

Most in the software works well, even so the biggest letdown is the fact when I record music from another source or perhaps a mic, it often skips just like a needle skipping on the record and ruins the song.
I dont want to pay to upgrade because of this if its going to get the same problem. Instead, Ill check into buying a competing product.

I purchased the WavePad Sound Editor some time back. There were many nebulous items not fully understood within the how to instructions what are known as their help desk inside the Denver area. Baaaad mistake! Their help people would be the most arrogant and difficult people I have ever dealt with to your extent that I finally threw away their product. Yep. Me too, only worse. It is inconceivable that NCH could bug its Wavepad masters version to completely disappear from my old xp computer. Nevertheless, it completely vanished! Not one trace remains during my old pc. And, in another pc, Wavepad new icon has developed into trial version eventhough it was once a totally functional app.
I won't re-purchase. NCH is usually a totally self serving monster.

This was purchased for my MAC. But this is often a Power PC program which MAC no more supports. You need to pay to go to someone in support services 79.99 for that masters edition 49.99 for your standard edition Im just likely to return it. I dont even care if I dont receive a refund. Credit are going to be fine. I was eager for using this but oh well.

I was initially introduced to WavePad by my sons companion who used this course to create ringtones from mp3s, cds, movies, or YouTube videos. However, WavePad has more power packed into an 2.8 kB program instead of just edit your favorite music or quotes to produce ringtones.
WavePad has an abundance of functionality one could expect from an audio editing program, however, it's some features I didnt expect.
