The enhanced granularity backup level for Microsoft Exchange allows you to line and examine the level of retrieved items during backup Single Items, Mailboxes, or Databases, which can be used being a selection criteria during restore. Note that for that Exchange Server 2013, single item restore is just not supported. See Granularity Backup Level for Microsoft Exchange Server additional details.
Data Deduplication enabled volumes are actually supported by SEP sesam. The backup for these volumes is conducted via Nonoptimized Backup and Restore. Client side data on these volumes are duplicated with the native size without deduplication.
In addition on the standard FTP protocol 2 ports required, HTTP/HTTPS protocol backup/restore is supported 1 port required. See How to configure a client for even more details.
Migration Task Dialog allows to migrate previously migrated savesets to a new media pool. See Copy migrated savesets again additional details.
Execution Parameter of Migration Task Event Dialog triggers the deletion from the original saveset following your migration with the saveset was successful. See Delete after successful migration for even more details.

Having been tasked using the upgrade of Windows PowerShell from version 2.0 to version 3.0 over a bunch of Windows 2008 R2 servers, I thought I could share my knowledge about this kind of activity and assist you to not to get muddled up. I will be as clear as is possible and detail the steps to follow in addition to identify the milestones with the upgrade.
First of most know that Windows PowerShell 3.0 is part of any greater package often known as Windows Management Framework WMF 3.0. WMF contains Windows PowerShell 3.0 of, WMI and WinRM. The Beta version includes a Server Manager CIM provider. This CIM provider allows users of Server Manager in Windows Server 2012 to accumulate and view management data from servers with Windows Management Framework 3.0 installed.
The Beta version of WMF 3.0 is shipped in four different packages. The package we're interested to is, that is targeted for Windows 2008 R2 SP1. You can download it because of this link.
Before we start the upgrade, make sure that four prerequisites are met:

Also, Microsoft states that to set up Windows PowerShell Integrated Scripting Environment ISE for Windows PowerShell 3.0 on computers running Windows Server 2008 R2 with Service Pack 1, before installing Windows Management Framework 3.0 RC, you must use Server Manager to incorporate the optional Windows PowerShell ISE feature to Windows PowerShell. Personally I didnt do it and also the feature got installed by PowerShell itself, exactly why bother?
If you happen to be unsure about version you have, check if the registry key HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftNET Framework SetupNDPv4Full offers the Install registry entry having a value of 1. If so, 4 has already been there.

Apparently you can find less cmdlets in PowerShell 3.0 when compared to 2.0 but this is false. In V2 gcm alias for get-command returns cmdlets, functions and aliases, when it is in V3 it returns cmdlets and procedures only.
In reality you will find 236 cmdlets in V2 the best query for V2 is gcm - CommandType and 313 in V3.
