I believe they deliberately have lousy software so that you have to phone and purchase support. Then when you choose to do phone for support it's no good. I have been using Corel software more than 15 years and within the last 2 yrs all their software and support initiated a policy of going down an exceptionally steep hill.
I still find it regrettable that Corel has chosen this path involving up great software companies and lowering the crooks to their new standards. In my opinion search for alternative software. This is not intended to be a personal attack about the Corel Company but a sincere solution to inform the customer of what to probably expect.

I compare Corel to Avid, Corel has better video result better quality of sound for live performances audio than Avid.
Corel doesnt have a great deal of effects or any photo slides, crashes the vast majority of time super oftenwithin minutes, fails at 99% while rendering a High Definition mp4 the file is gone/not created whatsoever, the image in picture effect lessens the quality with the picture/video that is while using effect.

Long story short three cell phone calls and a week plus a half later, I received reimbursement and an email which has a new connect to down load the package. This after me throwing a fit. I inserted a 1 minute video to try. Pulled down actual audio almost every other 10 seconds. 0 to 10 has audio, 10-20 no audio, etc. Now insert music while using Auto music insert Icon. Change audio level to make up the muted audio. Drag the on-screen level control to switch audio. No music for 0 to ten seconds, has music from 10-20 seconds, etc. Preview the last product. Original audio from 0 to just a few seconds, music from ten to twenty seconds, etc. Perfect. Now share and come to be MPEG4. When I did this the replaced audio wasn't any where that it was intended to. I contacted on-line tech support and spoke with aa tech who defined as Chris B. He understood the problem.
