There was no cd key or code with this version. It just installs therefore you run it. And its also mac compatible. I do not possess a mac so I cant say if itll are powered by that.

This may be the second version of Mavis Beacon that people have purchased and also the same software bug exists. As you set goals on your own, at some time right around when you are typing in close proximity to 50 WPM, it flips all your stats into negitive numbers. There is no method to climb out from the hole. This bug has been in existence in their software for more than 5 years now where there does not apparently be any should fix it. Ive reported the challenge in detail and many types of that Im ever told would be to wait for that newer version to be sold. They is not going to refund your dollars, they simply sucker you into buying another version as well as the problem still exists. Weve duplicated this challenge on three different computers inside my house. Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. All Operating Systems were fully patched up. Its not our computers. I had high school, college, and graduate school breezing along for the hunt and peck system. My Dad always fussed at me, proclaiming that I should learn how to type the simplest way.

After working the lessons for around an hour my oldest daughter mastered the finger keys and for only a few more lessons is very typing! My kids love the games part in the CD but it really all so clearly organized with quite easy instructions that my 8 yr old is getting the hang of it. I bought mavis beacon for my child inorder for him to get down typing. I didnt be aware of it has a whole lot of games that my child always get involved in it. Now I can see his development. I can see that he is will no longer an ordinary typist.
