Loved this system. Been using Virtual DJ regular and pro versions for decades but THIS is everything you grow to. I got this to select Hercules DJ Console Rmx also it works well your-better yet features than Virtual DJ that has been made for that.
It is NOT for computers that happen to be faint in your mind. I were built with a Toshiba laptop which was low end employing this and some features for instance recording using a mic didnt work right. Some in the stuff Id do quickly wouldnt work. Make sure you have a very good laptop.

I got the application last Fri, and ported my library across. Ive yet to experience a proper use it, but will be doing now, as I was awaiting my Audio 10 to show up which Ill be getting your hands on later today.
Previously Ive been using an M-Audio fast track pro which limited me to only the two decks, therefore the Audio 10 in addition to giving me having access to decks C D makes me really anxious about the sample decks as my sets are actually inching on the live remix type for the while though the 2 deck restriction was frustrating.
Really liking the hi-res waveforms, really very nice and welcome addition.
Deff looking towards my sets on Fri/Sat now, but recking I might have a very little more prep to try and do than usual!

Cool post, I joined inside fun at Traktor 3, don t think I used any fx or midi for at least the primary 2 months, going from vinyl to digital was obviously a huge deal personally. Last week I gave TPro another try, but was surprised that form effects there exists almost nothing it would do better in my opinion. Remix decks and loop recorder are nice tools which I revel in, but also for my live sets four decks perform job.
If I really want to perform some sample tricks I have some kind of special tracks in T3 and my Ableton Live running from the background, perfectly in sync with T3 s master track and stuffed with samples coming from all kind. But another thing. A utilize it with an Alesis IO Dock. With this Dockingstation i connect the IPAD via Midi cable while using input of my soundcard NI Audio 8 DJ. So i don t have to utilize WIFI. My Problem: the Layout in the Template ist Upside down. Is there any command to change it, for the reason that dock is similar to a pult, so there's really one real direction with the layout. Hey great work, all things I need to perform traktor. However, the jog wheels don t manage to work. They are there for the template and spin around and they also will scroll through tracks in browse menu, but they also won t scroll throughout the loaded track. I mean, aren t you supposed to get able to scratch and scroll by having a track using the jog wheels?

Yes, you must be able to scroll from the loaded track if it s stopped using the jog wheels. Pressing Shift must also scroll over the tracks more rapidly. Which version of Traktor have you been using?

OK, I ve updated to Trakor 2.1.2 and transfered
the latest template to my ipad. it's Traktor duo, not Traktor pro if it makes a difference?
1 neither jog wheel will scroll over the tracks.
2the sliders and buttons on FX unit 1 are associated with thoes on FX unit 2, and thus any movements to fx unit 1 is mirrored by fx unit 2, or or viceversa.
3 the stop button on deck A/B won t stop the track but turns on fx 3 on both fx units and moves their sliders each of the way up.
The stop button on deck C/D doesn t do anything whatsoever.
4 pushing the shift button has this affect: it moves both on the WET sliders every one of the way up and moves the Filter sliders to middle if they're not in middle.
I may try editing the midi myself in Traktor and pay attention to what I are capable of doing.

1. Not sure about it. You really should be able to press browse which can make the track selection screen larger and scroll through tracks.
2. Yeah, this shouldn t be happening.
3. Traktor Duo doesn t develop the Turntable FX effect required due to this function.
4. This shouldn t be happening either.
I haven t tested on Duo, but I suspect most on the problems are on account of not using Traktor Pro. You may well have to remap some from the controls because of it to develop Duo.

If you load it with all the large Import button, it will override any previous settings you experienced for effects that is why they aren t working, I suspect. The template will depend on all 4 FX units being set to chained.
Also, pressing the Shift button should load the TTFX that make the Stop button work.

once loaded on my small ipad 2 everything worked fine in addition to the jog wheels. In the blue n green boxes there would be the expand and load buttons the cue, mash and slice lights nevertheless the jog wheels seem to get missing also the beat indicator and track end warning light work fine.

Yes it lets you do. But there may be two leds on button And only you are working, after pressing the button left led is on And when I m pressing the button again booth of these is off I believed the points of two leds is good for indication of FX, and second EQ. Correct me if I m wrong. And another one. Make copy/paste for load and expand buttons around the right side they re not respond cause its encoder controller above.

Good idea! I ve just updated the TSI to add in this, so holding Shift and moving the jog wheel can speed the track forwardback. Is this the type of thing you meant?
You ll just have to download file again and re-import the TSI in Traktor to obtain it working.

FX Units 1 2 are fixed and should not be changed over the template as these will control the Beatmasher Beatslicer effects for each and every deck.
