If you are interested in a great alternative to AutoCad with a very reasonable price, this is it. Great for detail places to 4x. You can operate in 2d or 3d. Has almost same features as AutoCad throughout. Allows customization. Also imports and exports. Limited tutorials, so not as very easy to pick it up unless you already know just AutoCad.

Background: Geophysicist. I had AutoDesk at the office, MicroStation to be a 1990s OSU grad. student. Both were considerably more than needed, but I was required to output dxf files, Now I want to create hard bags, power points, etc for my trike. TurboCAD is far more functionally than I need. I can make sure they are of fiber or maybe putty and aluminum. The only basis for 4 stars vs. 5 stars could be the complex nature of those programs, TurboCAD is really capable it truly is too much program to me. Im still deep into your learning curve, and that's never a great place to write an assessment. However, Amazon will bug me to death for she pick up, This will do all I need and ssome. I get a kick out on the initial error box that tells me startup was fully successful! But it started okay and runs fine with a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit homebrew box with AMD Phenom Quad processor, 4Gb memory, 8Gb triple monitor nvidea video card. I upgraded the cardboard and power source, and after this as far as I can tell no fans ever think about it. Dead quiet desktop. go figure. Not as good as THE OSU stomping Michigan, but what's?

As for your cost, this is often a much better selling price than AutoCAD and most from the necessary functions exist. I will say though that this software seems slightly buggy sometime and tools inside the ribbon appear to disappear randomly. This has required some re-installs from the software to fix.
