I m with Zero Cool above, I cannot find file even thou I receive the success message after F9. Searching all drives and folders shows no file known as my source code. What gives? Also, evidently TP7 truncates the file name to eight characters long. Is this a real limitation?
Yes, its a real Limitation within the part in the Developers of TP7. The exe or soucrce is going to be present inside TP7bin Folder

I made some Turbo Pascal programs for over 10 years ago. Recently my 64 bits HP workstation was upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7, but the existing programs don't run anymore on account of compatibility problems.
Now we have installed the Turbo Pascal 7 for Windows 7. From the fullscreen editor it could possibly run and compile the previous source files, however, if trying to perform the generated exe-files directly, there is compatibility problems. Right-simply click the files and select Windos 7 compatibility don't help. The settings still generally seems to be for Windows XP Service Pack 2.
How can this challenge be solved?
actually we're also running the Turbo Pascal in a emulated environment as 16-bit programs cannot natively run in 64-bit environment, so those programs is not run directly, but we could run those involved with DosBox emulator such as this Turbo Pascal

Now when I installed it, I could start writing code, the same as I did then. As if little time have passed. Such a weird feeling.
The old TP seamless comfort, and it's so easy to structure and focus. And the installer! Wooosh and this system is installed and all things are ready. Those days I sat with my 5, 25 floppy drive and waited.
