Ive not played a Tony Hawk game for several years so I was pretty excited because of this game. After playing it last week, I wakened so angry I were forced to write my first review in fifteen years of being an Amazon customer!

1. The controls are incredibly familiar. Ive not really played a TH game in 7-8 years. After a minute about the tutorial, I was able to display all the tricks I could back inside the Underground days.

I were required to try it for myself though. Well just what a mistake! I pre-ordered it from GameSeek also it came yesterday 01/10/15 so I received it 1 day before the UK release. Before I discuss THPS5 I must inform you I am a MASSIVE Tony Hawks fan, I wanted the game to be so fun and remind me of why I use to invest so much of my childhood time playing the first games so you may say I thought I would get this to the nostalgia. It is put together by Robomodo, I did take advantage of the HD version they will was linked to but the game is just so bad! I input it in my console high was no update, despite hearing there is certainly a 7GB update which can be bigger than the experience itself! I loaded the game along with the Activision and Robomodo logos lagged so bad, I couldn't believe my eyes! When the experience came on I clicked single player plus it prompted me to test the tutorial, I declined this and was greeted using a continuous video of skateboarding on the menu without signs on the SP loading! I re-started the experience and tried this 3 x times! Still no luck, so I tried the tutorial and When I started skating the experience seemed so bland, half the tricks and manuals and grinds which I use to alter mid drift to enhance the multiplier was all gone! When I attempted a 180 degree spin it felt so slow and clunky that I cannot even land it! I felt so lost to the overall game and it did not sense that a Tony Hawks game by any means. I loved all of the original Tony Hawks Pro Skaters 1, 2, 3 and 4 and many of all I loved the Underground games especially Underground 2! Its sad to determine that it appears the bingo was released as being a rush job and as being a cash grab. Read more
