i dowloaded the demo they provide you with, everything that stuff they deomonstrate isnt within, and also the trial version sucks, i couldnt even have the vst to be effective rite, configure the audio and midi a pain inside the ass, i installed the edirol sound card only problems, i needed to use asio4 freebie and if you are trying to load a drum wave file right away you cant handle the installation the program wont permit you to install wave file when you open this system, that is junk sonar take your products and shove this your AAAAAAAAA

I are actually trying to convert all of my old cakewalk midi files and synced analog tape tracks to Sonar bundled files. After first loading and converting that old cakewalk files to Sonar, I run the tape eventually code and record the tape tracks into Sonar. On playback, the sound files run faster versus the midi tracks. I have some clues on the problem, but havent found a fix. Any help there?

i dowloaded the demo they provide you with, that stuff they reveal isnt inside, in addition to that the trial version sucks, i couldnt even receive the vst to function rite, configure the audio and midi a pain within the ass, i installed the edirol sound card just problems, i needed to use asio4 freebie and if you are attempting to load a drum wave file from the beginning you cant do the installation the program wont allow you to install wave file when you open this software, this really is junk sonar take your product or service and shove this your AAAAAAAAA

Hi guys I possess a yamaha MG166c-usb mixer but cant indipendantly record tracks inside a multitrack ssession, just 1 stream for all your band t edit afterwards. The purpose is to work with all 16 tracks to get a Live recording thats comming up.
I tried: Adobe Audition 3, 2 and 1; Cubase AI4, SX3,
Any Suggestions on the specific recording Software that could work because of this with my mixer interface please make me aware.

I are already trying to convert all of my old cakewalk midi files and synced analog tape tracks to Sonar bundled files. After first loading and converting that old cakewalk files to Sonar, I run the tape after a while code and record the tape tracks into Sonar. On playback, the sound recording run faster compared to midi tracks. I have some clues to your problem, but havent found a fix. Any assist there?

I only need basic functions play, stop, loop, etc. Im running from my laptop into a roland xv2020 sound module. Has anybody in existence done this?

Open console view and click on on one with the small buttons across the slider. This allows panning to become manual as apposed to automatic, which seems to become the default.
so far I cant manually I dont go to whichever small buttons across the volume slider the place that the panning knob and what is automatic panning anyway? thanks a lot if you will get me I have Sonar 8.5 loaded on same no issue panning

I was updating Win7 yesterday while I slept. When I woke, I restarted my machine, and everything had not been ok. Sonar X1 was behaving erratically. I couldnt obtain it to save properly. My song file became corrupted, as well as the computer would hang if I experimented with shut down this course. Basically, I was watching a lot in the behavior that others have posted within the forum. I went towards the update install list, and there would have been a catagory over the regular updates, and so they were all installed yesterday evening. They all had to do with Framework 4 Client Profile, so I deleted my way through that upper category, and left all of the regular updates alone. Sonar now runs perfectly, exactly like it did before. Wanted to post this in the event that anyone else ran into the problem and in addition they could do a search to the info.

4 Client Profile works here perfectly with SONAR. I havent heard anybody using my SONAR add-on Duckbar requires and 4 Client Profile reporting any issues. Yout problem may be within the update process, not inside the framework itself.

I had that as well happen some time ago. It ended up the automatic update process wouldn't go well. I had to uninstall the brand new updates and go on the Microsoft Update site then download and install the patch updates one at the time. After that everything was fine.

I accidentally installed it when I recently did a format/fresh install of my OS and my DAW won't run right from it. It never did, however its been such a long time since I did a brand new install, I forgot about 4 crap and installed it.
Oh well, the perfect time to again.
Honestly, these are typically DAWs. They shouldnt be for the net, period. Doing these updates is really a waste of time unless we actually see something from Cakewalk which says, hey, this really is broken, try this update and it's going to fix it. To date, Ive never witnessed that. the next time I format, Im not doing single update plus the DAW is rarely going to view the internet.

I surf the web using my studio comp, increase my progs, but I dont play games or do just about anything else along with it. So, in the meantime, Im planning to leave it alone. If it really works, then Im not likely to mess by using it.

I was updating Win7 the other day while I slept. When I woke, I restarted my machine, and everything hasn't been ok. Sonar X1 was behaving erratically. I couldnt understand it to save properly. My song file became corrupted, along with the computer would hang if I attemptedto shut down this program. Basically, I was visiting a lot in the behavior that others have posted around the forum. I went towards the update install list, and there would be a catagory across the regular updates, and so they were all installed the other day. They all had to do with Framework 4 Client Profile, so I deleted my way through that upper category, and left each of the regular updates alone. Sonar now runs perfectly, the same as it did before. Wanted to post this in the event anyone else ran into the problem plus they could do a search with the info.

But would it be safe for windows to delete that? Is it an important update for window to own trouble- free?

It seems as if just an add on to the framework for additional functionality. It wasnt placed on my comp until the other day, so I believe that everything will run fine. Maybe so programs can operate on Win7 that are intended for Win8? Ill admit that I have no idea exactly what it does, but I be aware that my comp/daw was broken gets hotter was installed, and today it works fine. Thats good enough for me personally. If anyone knows of why it could be critical to install, please chime in.

4 Client Profile works here perfectly with SONAR. I havent heard anybody using my SONAR add-on Duckbar requires and 4 Client Profile reporting any issues. Yout problem may be within the update process, not from the framework itself.
Not suited to uninstall, applications which might be written framework 4 demand it. If it really is installed chances are it truly is needed for some app.

I had that as well happen ever before. It proved the automatic update process wouldn't go well. I had to uninstall the newest updates and go towards the Microsoft Update site then download and install the patch updates one at the time. After that everything was fine.

I accidentally installed it when I recently did a format/fresh install of my OS and my DAW won't run right by using it. It never did, however its been that long since I did a brand new install, I forgot about 4 crap and installed it.
Oh well, time for you to again.
Honestly, they are DAWs. They shouldnt be around the net, period. Doing each one of these updates is often a waste of time unless we actually see something from Cakewalk which says, hey, this can be broken, accomplish this update and it is going to fix it. To date, Ive never witnessed that. the next occasion I format, Im not doing single update along with the DAW is not going to begin to see the internet.
