If Tomb Raider is Indiana Jones, then Tomb Raider 2 is James Bond. Alot of TR fans dont in this way game, simply because it has an excessive amount shootemup elements into it than it should. I agree. But that dosnt help it become bad. Infact TR2 could be the most playable game of all of the TRs. It dosnt have those irritating dark scenes a lot of. Lara actions are better. And the puzzles are better considered. Im also keen on Far Eastern art. So the last levels realy felt good for more information on. Im giving this 4 stars because alot with the levels, although great to learn, dont have the first soul of Tomb Raider. I would rather explore an Incan Ruin than Venice, or, Atlantis than an Oil Rig. You get my point. But I still like playing it and I never tired of it.

Tomb Raider 2 is terrific! I didnt believe that Eidos will make another Tomb Raider that has been just as good as the main, however they did! The cerebral, compelling Egyptian storyline of TR1 is sorely missed, but is substituted with a spectacular variance in exotic locales - Tibet, under the ocean, Italian villas, and even more. Even though the primary Tomb Raider was good, the other one is better yet! I love Tomb Raider 2! Everything is greater then the very first one. Theres improved graphics, better locales, more weapons and enemies and awesome vechicles.

I highly recommend the game. I am approximately 2/3rds through the experience and Im very impressed. I wasnt sure I want as much as being the first game these days I think I like it more. The graphics are greater and the opportunity to save whenever you desire to is delightful. If I hadnt completed the 1st Tomb Raider, I would have gotten a much more difficult experience controling Lara in jumping and evading gunfire. It has a different feel compared to the first Tomb Raider and it's much more shadowy. The underwater scenes are nifty looking even so the harpoon gun is hard to control. Tomb Raider II gives a good balance of puzzle solving, clue searching and action.

Tomb Raider 2 is even better compared to first one. Although the same graphics troubles are still visible, mafia wars will keep you jumping way back in horror, sighing in victory, and laughing with the corny movie clips involving levels.
