Print Shop 23.1 does what Print Shop 2.0 canrrrt do and that's - to open up the many projects created in recent, earlier versions of Print Shop. Both Print Shop 23.1 and two.0 are appropriate for Windows 7 but vers. 23.1 allows having access to other, earlier, projects as vers. 2.0 won't. Just for kicks, I recently bought them both: I got a different pc w/windows 7, so I HAD TO well, to start with if youre a keyboard shortcuts person as i am, you discover very disappointed with Printmasters new GOLD 2011 version for windows 7. No keyboard shorts, and secondly, and quite a few unfortunate, one CANNOT access previous printmaster projects inside. Ive used Broderbund Print Shop since 1990 with complete satisfaction. This version leaves the perimeters of print fonts slightly fuzzy and distorted. It is unusable!
Broderbund had been an awesome company BUT they have definitely gone lower the toilet!!! Program will NOT load AND there is NO customer support-NONE! They provide you with a phone number and it also warns you there is usually a 30 minute wait, it's more like 45 minutes, then your reps are so lazy to aid, say I will email an update and hang up! The update won't work, you're faced with another long wait for the next lazy, incompetent jerk that may be rude and supplies nothing and won't give you a refund! I have bought Broderbund products for that last 20 years, it's got changed for that worst! STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU ENJOY LOSING MONEY, AND DEALING WITH UNLESS JERKS ON THE PHONE!! WOW! I was disappointed in the product. I bought it as a consequence of oversize printing ability, however some other features positioned on earlier versions usually are not improved and are certainly not even available. The open project menu gives a choice to load projects manufactured by earlier versions, not too. I had not been able to open up any of my projects manufactured by PrintShop 23.1.
