The Pagemaster in my view, would be a wonderful film, and I do think a few.8 rating is the wrong size. I have seen much worse movies, that happen to be rated over that. Sure it s not Disney, but it is often a good family film that I guarantee should you give it an opportunity that the whole family will enjoy. The animation just isn't so bad, perhaps a bit dated and rushed, but I ve seen worse, plus the dragon was excellent. The music by James Horner was beautiful, very fitting using what was going on on-screen, very paying homage to Land Before Time and Once Upon a Forest, and Whatever You imagine was amazing. The story tells of an young boy named Richard, who's going to be serious and fearful of all things, until a surprise visit to your library changes his life forever. I loved the story along with the clever and diverse references towards the literary giants, like Treasure Island, Jekyll and Hyde and Moby Dick, as well as the message with the film about facing your fears that doesn t preach. Macaulay Culkin is extremely good here as is Christopher Lloyd, and Patrick Stewart rousing and witty, Whoopi Goldberg sugar and starch and Frank Welker inside a fine Igor impression expertly bring the snappy screenplay one's. I loved the witty banter between Adventure and Fantasy, plus the librarian s rant regarding the different literary genres. Trovo molto stimolante latmosfera cupa e familiare che si viene a creare guardando questa pellicola per piщ di una volta.
