I personally assume that this could be the only way such a show could be made, true to the original source material and completely engrossing, but I found myself more worried regarding the pain inside my posterior compared to the emotional final minutes after 4 hours including ads and previews that I had spent inside a cramped seat. As such, this could be all the better a minimum of for me when its release on DVD cant wait to the to see the Sauroman scenes how they cut out.

This is NOT the review with the movies. I am solely reviewing the important points that what EXTRA you get on this set versus the previous editions. I will begin with very basic facts for anyone who are baffled by countless editions being around.
LOTR series has basically home equity loans movies- a Theatrical and b Extended, each edition can be bought in both-DVD and Blu ray format.
Extended versions with the movies have humongous number of extra film footage added to your theatrical editions approx. 30, 40 and 50 additional minutes for movie 1, 2 and 3 respectively. So, go for that extended editions as long as you undoubtedly are a die hard fan with the movies. If you are not, the review ends here. Buy whichever movie you prefer in your preferred format and get. Lets get straight to-the-point. Now, a lot of you may at the same time own the DVD versions of LOTR Either Theatrical or Extended ot both, and if you're trying to create a decision if you should spend more money for this blu ray extended, here could be the comparison-

Audio is spine chilling DTS HD 6.1 and yes it has the every one of the betterments of blu ray HD pic, HD sound, BD live. Q - Is it worth the cost, in particular when I curently have the DVD edition?
A - To me it truly is because I like to view movies at home about the biggest possible screen in the highest possible resolution. I still need the DVD editions - which Im keeping because I like the artwork - along with the quality gain within the Blu is significant.

A - Yes. It has the extended cuts in the highest resolution while using best sound along with the most extensive assortment of special features.
Q - How many Blu-ray discs are from the box?
A - There are SIX Blu-ray discs. The additional 9 extras or bonus discs are DVDs.
Q - Are the films delivered one disc each?
A - No. See above. Like the DVD extended edition, the flicks are delivered on 2 discs each.
Q - Why arent the films delivered during one Blu-ray disc each?
A - Most Blu-ray players are only able to read single layer 25GB and dual layer discs 50GB. Each in the Extended Edition movies require in excess of 50GB. Compressing these to under 50GB might have degraded the quality in the picture and sound track.
Q - Is the audio superior towards the DVD editions?
A - Yes, the flicks sound track is DTS-HD 6.1 MA.

I already reviewed the standard Motion Picture Trilogy containing the non-extended editions from the legendary Lord of The Rings masterpieces using one set. However, this newest edition can be a grand improvement for the previous edition. This item can be a much, MUCH better investment versus the old theatrical counterparts and is also perhaps the maximum DVD get one will likely ever make.
A lot Directors Cut scenes are often just added footage that doesnt execute a whole lot to incorporate onto the theatrical edition of movies with examples like Star Wars, Manhunter, and even most from the Aliens movies too.
