I had the rubber of just one wheel tear by 50 percent and another the screws brought out. Mind you, I am not wheeling this thing round the room. I have merely pulled it forward several feet to improve the configuration maybe once or twice. I would recommend drilling holes with the base and making use of bolts to require the casters. I am sure that could solve the challenge. Of course it wouldnt solve the problem from the cheap casters. Those you might upgrade at the same time. All in all a superb item. I wish I thought regarding the caster mount sooner because I am not gonna disassemble my whole studio now and also the desk is very heavy loaded up. Definitely use bolts. This desk is often a great home studio desk for people who dont have a lot of space to use. Room for any 30 monitor 8 studio monitors or 2x24 or less monitors and smaller studio monitors around the top shelf. I mounted my monitors top/bottom layout for Reason squeeze rack on top plus the mixer around the bottom. But originally had the monitors side-by-side with my 5 near field studio monitors. The bottom shelf could be used for the full 88 key keyboard, or for just a nice, large workspace. The back has lots of openings for cables plus a nice tray the whole width to save your excess cable. Q R: Solid as being a rock. So solid, in reality, that you NEED make use of ISO devices if you plan to set speakers around the desk. Glad I ordered those too. I agree generally with all the positive reviews. Its big, solid, and well considered. As others have stated, it really is almost bizarrely heavy, due to the fact its thick particle board to the most part, which has a maple veneer. calling it maple is really a tad misleading, however, not an important consideration for me personally. The particle board is usually a blessing in disguise because its softness is very forgiving of misaligned holes?a serious pain on this product. Screws entering with an angle bite in enough to help keep digging in and ultimately straighten as things shrink. I dont think theres anything similar around that isnt at least 2 times the price, and its worthwhile even if you've got to use the drill and make your own personal holes, which I were avoid. No missing pieces or bolts; the casters work smoothly, an essential feature because of this monster; the sliding shelves slide as they must; and Ive seen uglier furniture. Good luck!
This desk is a fantastic buy. It has an abundance of rack spaces and is particularly well laid out using a sliding tray for your working computer keyboard. It will hold obviously any good monster 88 kb as being a Yamaha S90ES without problem. The top shelf has room for studio speakers, a laptop, along with an extra monitor. When assembling the system, always tighten everything up only enough for getting all your gear within the bottom rack space first, then tighten the device up all of the way. Its a great desk.

The Producer perceived to fit the bill, and I was lucky enough to view one in-person inside my local Guitar Center. It would have been a pretty straightforward build, and just took about an hour having a power drill. If you refer to the manual, and dont tighten everything before the end, then everything lines up perfectly. This is usually a massive desk! Plenty of room to have an 88 key controller, 2 24 monitors, and my full group of surface controllers. The cable management channel inside the back can be a nice touch. I still invested in a few extra cable ties etc, to hold things altogether and tidy. hen you look for the desk, you truly see no extraneous wires in any way. Nice. the rolling wheels make it simple to move the desk out as needed, but I get it on carpet, which adds a certain amount of resistance.
