Zach Beckler s Interior is undoubtedly an outstanding first film with the young filmmaker. He needs a simple story: One man - one night - one haunted house - and helps it be new and fresh by infusing it with technology and technology driven humor. The basic plot is fairly standard - let s film a ghost inside a modern haunted house. But the sounds and scares are great as the isolated filmmaker who is going to capture the ghost moves from skepticism to outright terror as being the movie ramps in the scares.
Most effective was the application of multiple cameras filming the many rooms. This will not be your typical Paranormal Activity usage of cameras and film discuss stale, that series must have stopped three movies ago. Beckler uses cameras to advantage as ofttimes Sam Christopher Carullo is way too frightened to even look within the next room - so he sticks you around the corner and snaps off a lot of photos. The resulting photos are often very unsettling and unusual.
The videos of Sam as they investigates the disturbances inside house are incredibly disquieting too.
The main actor, Christopher Carullo, does a superb job as being the filmmaker trapped inside house. He conveys a sense tension that I haven't seen since High Tension - one of my record favorites.
My only concern was an excessively long black hole sequence at the conclusion. Not sure the concepts being portrayed - or why it appeared to go on forever I was never an excellent fan of 2001: A Space Odyssey, but this can be Beckler s first film, so no big criticism here.
Interestingly Beckler also has made a short which accompanies the entire length feature called Where is Alice? - and that is excellent and also artfully builds suspense and thinly disguises terror. You really should see both of them.
So I say great first effort to Zack Beckler. Unfortunately I do not know best places to tell you to attend see these films - but when you can find them they're worth watching.

Dear Susannah, thanks so much to the beautiful workbook. I am using this for your 3rd year now and I find it irresistible! One suggestion for your next one maybe: I tend to forget what I have achieved throughout the year, so it could possibly be worth putting in monthly by month review page, much like the grid for defining the goals for that coming year. That also makes is not hard to compare what I planned to accomplish and what I did or that which was important. It might be a section for the purpose I was grateful for in on a monthly basis. I m excited to try this course also to find my word too. Since the autumn I ve felt an actual shift, the culmination of a lot of exploring. I turned 40 at the beginning of November and extremely feel like I ve turned the page not just of your new chapter but another volume: an innovative blank book just waiting. I haven t an idea what s ahead and often will appreciate good quality company to feel my way into 2015!

I had problems with all the blacked out words at the same time. I believe it had been a certain font you used. I just read from my computer what the language were and filled them in in this little printed copy. Thank you a lot for such a fantastic resource!!
