30-day trial failed to even last 1 month. Installed the program on 11/23/2013 plus the trial claimed it turned out expired on 12/8/2013. Not sure I am prepared to trust software from the company that cannot count to 30, especially with the retail price of the total version.
The software workflow is ideal for any studio, restoration company, or audio production facility. I had one with the first versions when Sonic Foundry started, and also by version six I was recommending it for broadcast editing. Back then this company was very in-sync with users needs and understood the needs and stability. It had some really good tools. I say had as lately there were some issues. For a radio/TV production department its handy.
In one word: Support. Since Sony took over the business, support in the product may be nil to apathetic. I, personally, am still hoping to get a resolution on problems starting at the begining of 2012. At some part I was given under helpful advice in order to resolve the situation which lead on the PC being rendered useless. I don't realize if we have a difference within the quality of paid versus free support on something you obtain on the first day, and I would hope there would stop, but each of the support Ive received for the product continues to be less than satisfactory, and around the lower end of disappointed.

Again, this really is just yet another way Sony takes the confidence out on the product. As I mention, Ive been a while Sony Sound Forge, Vegas, and Acid user. But something has happened on the soul on the company where apathy for customers seems predominant. As much as Ive used Sound Forge for decades, I feel that within the future Im going to have to plunge to another product. Sony has lost my confidence, and patience. And on top of computer, they probably dont care Im disappointed. Its probably better to find another product notebook computer supported.
You see I have sony acid music studio and I cant have that thing to record, so I wont trust sony.
If it didnt work within the trial version why would I even try it out or contemplate buying it? If sony doesnt count on me enough to provide me a trial version that works how is it that I have confidence in them at all?
SImple recording program easy editing, save generally in most any popular format
I cant see where it's got dubbing capability. I think the Sound Forge Pro has that but expensive. Trouble with multiple downloads and also the version you get. For professionals the Audio Pro or Acid is probably great. one month free trial
