I want imported files to get saved into folders for that days the photos were taken, and I keep one of the best pictures in this little phone. A common use case.

The duplicates appear from the folder as opposed to actual photos I took two days ago. What would it do if I asked delete original pictures after importing? Lose them forever? It even changes the date taken field in certain cases yet not all cases, so I do not have anything reliable I can use.
What happens when you've date folders returning years, now you are looking for and remove duplicates heading back years? The file names arent always the identical. I REALLY hope it didnt overwrite old photos. Do I need to compare against backups now?

Absolutely confirmed the imports overwrote countless old pictures. I am really lucky I have a backup and I kept the originals in my phone, nevertheless its going being a huge project to clean up this up.
I downloaded off their website to ensure I got and untouched file. I backed up my files in the event that it really did delete them.
NO problem. Was just what I needed.
The interface will not be very intuitive plus a little tough to figure out.
Nothing. Despite several tries to install the FB uploader, it just wont show up on Picasa. I gave up inside end. The capability to upload to FB don't exists, rapidly fake app which has no functionality.
Picasa have removed abilities to discuss, rendering their app useless.

I lost mine 72 hrs ago. They informed me I had to pay for 700. in 167 hrs this went up to 1400. I will not do that. I am reporting this business!

I used Picasa for decades and realize its very good.
Picasa is great but I would recommend downloading straight from Google.
As another reviewer mentioned I am don't sure what's included in the downloads. Took me efforts and clean out your potentially harmful malware after my last download, and it is going to be my last until they clear their act.
Always take care where you download from and what else is roofed as either subscriber or opt out or hidden.

I AGREE that there can be a LOT of unwanted crap programs coming down with everything you asked for. It has really poisoned this previously useful site. I keep getting this bloat ware from AVG which regardless if I use different UNinstallers is extremely difficult to root out. I am now blocking this website because from the CRAP they're sandwiching in to the downloads!
You must read every single thing it prompts you for while downloading so that you dont get hit using a virus/bug/trojan/etc. Even so you'll find things you are made the may too be viruss. You must go on your program dirs and appearance for spam programs ASAP to halt the madness.
I wouldnt know associated with a, as son as I opened it went into spastic auto uploading mode that might not stop. I have a huge number of picture in lots of organized Albums. I only needed to upload videos and I had no means of stopping this system from just uploading every image file it discovered.

If you've a little photos it would work fine. It is fast but you might have little control. I safely deleted it from my computer after having a short 20 minute ordeal. I hope nothing got deleted. I have little idea where t stored the thumbnails commemorate to view the photos unless it really uses links for the original.

Its free; its convenient; its beneficial to my business of organic SEO an internet-based marketing for small enterprises because it helps me build consistent reputations and business image by really connecting content and images.
