As hard as it can certainly be to believe in the country as advanced because United States, lots of people die every year from preventable medical mistakes. This book addresses why this occurs and what could be done to save lots of many of these people. Dr. Pronovost begins while using tragic story of 18-month-old Josie King, who had been accidentally scalded at home and developed second degree burns.
