Ive been a loyal ZoneAlarm client for several years. I had thought their free firewall product was robust, simple, reliable. How different to Symantec! They couldnt be helpful should they tried. I had used my 3 activations of NIS 2012, but once I rebuilt my PC, it really was an IM far from a techie to reset my account. I was reactivated for the rebuilt PC within 10 mins. 10/10 to Symantec.

Their chat system was horrible - giving me constant erroneous canned comments along with the reps saying they wasn't getting my responses.
The reps showed no customer satisfaction care with no technical expertise.
I wanted my cash back under their advertised guarantee nonetheless they said I did not qualify.
I called my local internet provider and numerous folks that staff said they hear complaints regularly about Zone Alarm. They had me unistall Zone Alarm and install AVG Free. Now my computer is back to its old self and I am happy!

WELL LETS SEE HERE WERE TO START I INSTALLED OUTPOST ON ONE OF MY LAPTOPS BECAUSE ITS SUPPOSED TO BE VERRY LIGHT ON SYSTEM RESOURCES WELL THAT MAY BE BE BUT I GOT WELCOMED WITH YOU HAVE 2 DAYS TO ACTIVATE AND THATS NOT THE WORST PART THAT CAME WHEN I TRIED TO UPDATE IT NOW I GUESS THE JOKE WAS ON ME BECAUSE IT INFORMED ME THAT SOME OF THE MALWARE UPDATES COULD NOT BE INSTALLED WHAT GOOD IS ANTI MALWARE THAT CANT BE UPDATED I HAD COMODO ON THIS LAPTOP BEFORE I GUESS I WILL REINSTALL IT AT THE VERY LEAST IT WORKS I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH COMPUTERS FOR 15 YEARS NOW I MAY SOUND LIKE A CRAZY PERSON BUT REST ASSURED IM NOT I DO NOT THINK I COULD TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS SOFTWARE OR PASS THE INFO ON TO A FRIEND ITS JUST NOT READY FOR PRIMETIME ITS WEAK FIREWALL IS IS THE FIRST THING I NOTICED ABOUT IT AND THE FACT THAT IF ITS NOT A PRO VERSION YOU JUST MIGHT BE SCREWED AND NOT EVEN KNOW IT BECAUSE THE PRIORITY UPDATES ARE ONLY FOR THE PRO VERSION AND AS WITH ANY A/V FIRST UPDATES ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT RUNNING THE SOFTWARE OUT OF DATE IS UNSAFE NOTE YOU HAVE NO REAL PROTECTION UNTILL THIS SOFTWARE UPDATES.
AND YES IT STILL SUCKS THATS WERE TO GET CLEAN SECURITY SOFTWARE!

1. There is usually a tool referred to as the spell check. You should use it.
2. Just because you add your review in capitals doesnt mean everyone is likely to believe it
3. I guess this system isnt for anyone like you who cant obtain a simple product key. Try using something similar to AVG. Your system is certain to get badly infected but hey, at the very least you dont need something key
4. I have viewed and there is a great deal of cracked software.

Your review afflicted me with a headache. Proof once more that capslock isn't cruise control for cool.
Unstable, slow, troublesome suite
1. The AV has small detection rates, and also very poor at taking care of virus infections. Even MS Security Essentials VB100 has better detection rates, cleans better, and costs nothing.
2. The smartdecision within this suite decreases browsing to result in the computer to freeze for 2-3 minutes or longer each and every time you try to own an application. They should think of it as stupiddecision instead.
3. The updates are incredibly irregular, mostly the updater runs but no updates can be obtained. Somehow the updater seems being sending data out through the PC. The log doesn't show, but other process monitoring software shows. Strange. Is this company sending any one of my private data to themselves?
4. This suite causes intermittent bluescreen crashes, especially on warm reboots.
5. Firebox and IE browsers seem to get non responsive for too long periods of time after installing this suite. Browsing and downloading becomes very slow.
Dont bother to offer yourself more trouble. Security suites are meant for being like bodyguards that protect us. But Outpost turn out as a bodyguard that annoys you and also makes your health miserable for the PC. There are better products in existence: AVAST COMODO gives greater protection with less trouble.
Its fee and all to easy to use and it also works!!!
I are actually using the paid version in my laptop for 10 years and also have never a problem. I was happy in the event the free version became available, I use the free version on my computers5 total and still have not had any problems. unlike one other free antivirus software available, this will help you remove the herpes simplex virus if you get 1 and also the others wont. I have tried all the opposite free antivirus software and most on the paid antivirus software on the market and this will be the best.
