Ive been using win7 because it came out and yes it hasnt had any of the problems. If you took the short while it takes to disable the setting sounds they wouldnt certainly be a problem. Recently upgraded from Vista, clean install as I did something stupid and yes it made the OS explode, windows 7 was obviously a really nice change, and Im actually glad I upgraded now.
Not an enormous change from Vista. I had no issues with vista before I upgraded, but Windows 7 really is really a nice change. Its lots faster being an OS and I was rather glad to acquire rid from the crapware on my small old OS when I did this clean install.

Yes XP just isn't perfect but hardly slow compared on the bloated and rushed VISTA. If you execute a clean install with XP and also your computer continues to be slow it is your hardware or you've got the wrong drivers installed. This just isn't XPs fault.

This was indeed a replica of Windows 7 Pro and also a genuine Microsoft disk BUT, this product key code had obviously been razor bladed off another machine which genuine but used key code was only stuck inside non Microsoft DVD case. The whole thing was poorly re-shrink wrapped. This just isn't a legal solution to sell Microsoft OEM software because it can just be used on one machine. Amazon must be conscious they are aiding an illegal practice.

Bought this due to the reasonable price for the full install version of Win 7. I emailed their support for getting reassurance after receiving the creation that it was truly a lawful copy as well as a full install, not an upgrade version.
