Thank you Jesus Christ! This operating-system has been beside me a short while however it is extremely enjoyable. Throughout my brief years on your computer as a brand new user it happens to be impressive. Just my own prefer. Even the preview of Microsoft Windows 8 isn't going to compare to Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2.
So far Windows XP is definitely the slowest OS Ive ever worked. Not definitely worth the buy whatsoever.
Windows XP isn't a good OS, since it keeps crashing for no reason and its particular so slow, even if you might have 1-2GB of memory. If you might have XP, I recommend you upgrade to Vista SP1 or 7 now.

Yes XP will not be perfect but hardly slow compared on the bloated and rushed VISTA. If you carry out a clean install with XP plus your computer remains to be slow it's your hardware or you might have the wrong drivers installed. This isn't XPs fault.
The next step is always to buy a whole new computer with 7. You might get a another one for a couple hundred in case you need a great computer for tech you'll be able to build your own personal for a few hundred at the same time. Im sure you'll find techs within your town that may help you. Either way the rule of thumb is XP for old computers, and 7 for brand new ones. And if you will cant stand XP for reasons uknown then change to linux. Its free and considerably more secure.
Very, good Windows program
Easy to face problems, very easy to navigate. Holds enough. Tells when there is often a problem and fixes it easily. Fast 85% in the time. Good household computer, tells every time a program may harm your personal machine, and asks if you would want to run it.
Lags sometimes ANNOYING, is usually slow 35% with the time. When multiple tabs windows are running at precisely the same time, each of the programs immediately become unresponsive. When programs become unresponsive, pain inside neck to shut this system down.
Overall, I have had this computer ALL MY LIFE, plus it still works like fresh. This computer is surely an old but trusted friend, if you wish to pick out a fresh program, choose this. You wont regret it!:
if your Microsoft ME main system wont work anymore, purchase a upgrade package off ebay that converts your o/s to XP home. Yes, it truely does work OK and allows you to maintain your current computer more years. as Microsoft will support XP thru 2013
no choice but to convert to xp from ME. XP home works all right and all my old software works well on it. No support for ME which was very beneficial for me for several years. Time to move nearly XP to maintain software current.
XP probably will go down as Microsofts best computer ever. After service pack 2 and 3, they finally have it working! Why reinvent the wheel? Im happy and hang up for no less than 2 or 3 years as a result of a 50 upgrade pkg purchased off ebay
