Yes XP just isn't perfect but hardly slow when compared to the bloated and rushed VISTA. If you execute a clean install with XP and also your computer continues to be slow it is your hardware or there is a wrong drivers installed. This just isn't XPs fault.

You can get a fresh one to get a couple hundred and if you would like a great computer for tech then you may build your own for the few hundred too.
