I would definitely update a Win XP machine with this also it went super easy and well EXCEPT you cant upgrade from the 32bit O/S to some 64 bit O/S. The Microsoft updater will undoubtedly update 32bit to 32bit and 64bit to 64bit together with the online updater. You will should have the DVD media for these particular type of updates.
Also being a side note you cant perform Microsoft online updater with an old XP-64bit system I was wanting to work around the 32bit problem.
